Oversized Tee: Sashiko

Sashiko is a Japanese needlework technique. In addition to embroidering elaborate, large-scale patterns with needle and thread, sashiko is also used to repair or strengthen fabrics.


In keeping with our goal to be more sustainable and produce less textile waste, we have reworked unsold shirts from the first drop. In addition to screen printing, the back of the shirt is finished with a technique reminiscent of sashiko.
